New Look

I was one of two product designers working on a redesign of the My Account site area, which was the first section to be tackled as part of a wider site re-platform. I made several UI/UX improvements to the existing design rooted in best practices, as follows:

Account Creation: Improved user feedback and validation for password creation

Contact Preferences: Increased the size of radio buttons to improve usability on mobile. Improved success and error messaging for contact preferences updates through clear iconography and semantic colours.

Address Management: Moved the add/edit address functionality from a pop-up to a stand-alone page to improve usability, particularly on mobile

Size Guide

I was the sole designer working on a redesign of the size guide across all product categories, with the aim of improving conversion and reducing return rates.

I worked closely with the buying team to identify which sizing information was most pertinent for customers when purchasing. Based on these conversations I added some new measurements that were not previously accounted for to my design, while ensuring that customers were only shown information relevant to the product category they were browsing in a consice and easily digestible format. This was a departure from the previous size guide which displayed measurements for all categories simultaneously, thus causing overwhelm for customers. The reduction in information also made it possible to remove horizontal scrolling on mobile devices.
